From Manchester to the misty Scottish Borders, our 2011 adventure blended castles, coastlines, and a touch of chaos. The group explored the Lake District, toured Muncaster Castle, cruised Derwentwater, and danced through Peebles, Dumfries, and Gretna Green.

Along the way, they walked Roman ruins, toasted at distilleries, and were piped into dinners fit for royalty. Between laughter, music, and the occasional rainstorm, every stop revealed another story — from Robert Burns’ favourite pubs to Scotland’s windswept shores.
